In their own words

  • Public Safety's Cyber Security Cooperation Program: Actua is applying for funding through this program. They will brief office holders on how the organization helps youth recognize, avoid, and report cybercrime, scams, fraud, and online mis/disinformation. Funding through this program would also support targeted programming on the dual role of AI in both propagating and counteracting cyber threats, and prioritize engagement of underserved and underrepresented youth.
  • Actua is Canada's largest science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) skills training organization focused on the engagement of underrepresented youth. The organization is advocating for investments in STEM, including AI literacy and skills development, to strengthen Canada's talent pipeline and prepare the future workforce.
  • CanCode Program - Actua is advocating for the renewal of CanCode in Budget 2025.
