Ensuring the Defence Industrial Strategy implementation, including related policies, programs, regulations and legislation supports the growth of the aerospace industry in Canada.
  • Industrial & Regional Benefits (IRB) Policy – this policy administered by Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada requires that foreign prime contractors who are awarded major Canadian defence procurement contracts place a level of business activity back into Canadian industry.
