In their own words

  • Engaging with key public officials to highlight the need for a change of paradigm within Canada's financial sector. The change should aim at integrating more indirect finance companies, and their specific abilities, to improve small and medium businesses' access to equipment finance.
  • Ensuring that anti-money laundering regulations adequately addresses concerns in the Canadian financial system while ensuring that they do not impose a significant barrier to lenders, specifically independent lenders.
  • Increase the automobile income tax deduction limits and expense benefit rates that will apply in 2025 and beyond. These changes could be done by amending the Income tax Act or accompanying regulations.
