In their own words

  • To obtain clarity and provide input on the Government of Canada's announced transition from open-net salmon aquaculture in British Columbia as Fisheries and Oceans prepares the draft framework for that transition. To pursue understanding of what Transport Canada determines and defines as "vessels".
  • The object of the lobbying is to promote the benefits of Cermaq's salmon farming investments in Canada and seek a positive path forward for continued investments, job creation, food security, exports, and economic reconciliation with First Nations.

Meetings from the Commissioner of Lobbying of Canada. Canada does not require lobbyists to disclose what they spend, so there is no lobbying budget to report here — only the meetings they filed.
