In their own words

  • Support the Electric Distributors Association of Ontario to engage with the federal government to provide feedback on policies and programs under development, and to obtain information on current policies and programs, including those announced through the annual federal budget, Fall Economic Statement and Climate Plans. These include, but are not exclusive to, the Smart Renewable and Electrification Pathways, and the Energy Innovation Program - Smart Grid.
  • Raise awareness with respect to key challenges faced by the electricity distribution industry in Ontario, particularly with respect to the transition to a net zero electricity grid, and associated investments required to meet said federal objectives, such as grid modernization and smart grid investments.
