In their own words

  • Department of Employment and Skills Development Canada (ESDC) (and other Federal funding) to facilitate collective national initiatives for the geoscience profession, in the areas of entry to practice competencies, interprovincial/international recognition and mobility, and nationally developed practice guidelines.
  • We are collaborating with Finance Canada to identify funding opportunities and other potential initiatives. Maintaining thorough documentation for each effort is critical to ensure accurate tracking and alignment with our funding priorities.
  • We are currently engaging with elected officials in the House to raise awareness about geoscientists, job opportunities in Canada, Environment/ Climate matters and related issues.

Meetings from the Commissioner of Lobbying of Canada. Canada does not require lobbyists to disclose what they spend, so there is no lobbying budget to report here — only the meetings they filed.
