In their own words

  • The unique conditions of Northern and remote communities greatly affect how municipal infrastructure is built and maintained. Northern communities have unique realities that need to be addressed in program design through flexibility in how funding is disbursed and how programs are applied to Northern communities. For example, construction seasons in the North are much shorter than southern municipalities.
  • Adequately fund the provision of Mental Health and Addictions treatment to allow the Territories to move beyond the harm reduction model that is not even being achieved.

Meetings from the Commissioner of Lobbying of Canada. Canada does not require lobbyists to disclose what they spend, so there is no lobbying budget to report here — only the meetings they filed.
