In their own words

  • Given Pallium Canada’s commitment to ensuring accessibility to palliative care across Canada, its goal is to increase engagement with the government on this matter and provide support to address the challenges with health human resources and to increase overall palliative care capacity. With a focus on achieving financial sustainability and advancing research in this field, it also seeks to make palliative care a key consideration as the government introduces new programs for seniors and people living with life-limiting conditions.
  • Pallium Canada communicates with federal public office holders regarding policies, programs, and potential grants or contributions to strengthen palliative care capacity in Canada. This includes support for palliative care education and professional development for health and care providers, health human resource readiness, caregiver and long-term care supports, and research and evaluation related to improving access to quality palliative care for people living with life-limiting illness and their families.

Meetings from the Commissioner of Lobbying of Canada. Canada does not require lobbyists to disclose what they spend, so there is no lobbying budget to report here — only the meetings they filed.
