In their own words

  • Climate change: Development of a national climate change policy framework, national greenhouse gas reduction targets and plans to implement both (enabled through legislation, regulation and policy); legislative proposals related to legal accountability for climate-related loss and damage.
  • Legal implementation of the Impact Assessment Act and Canadian Energy Regulator Act; enactment and amendment of regulations under those acts; development of policies and guidance respecting impact assessment and pipeline regulatory reviews.
  • To ensure that the legal and policy framework for so-called 'national interest' projects is environmentally sound, democratically legitimate, and constitutionally robust.

Meetings from the Commissioner of Lobbying of Canada. Canada does not require lobbyists to disclose what they spend, so there is no lobbying budget to report here — only the meetings they filed.
